Principal Trainer
Dr. Khoo Cheok Kau

Dr. Khoo Cheok Kau is the Founder and Principal Trainer of Kairos Performance learning and has a passion to help people succeed at the personal and interpersonal levels. His philosophy of human resource development for others is based on the 3Gs: GROW, GLOW and GO. He has been personally trained in the USA by Dr. Robert Cialdini, the world’s most cited expert in the field of persuasion. He is honoured to be the 1st Malaysian to be a Cialdini Method Certified Trainer (CMCT) and among only the 19 CMCTs in the world. He is also trained in the USA as a Facilitator to conduct the Leadership Challenge Workshop which is based on the best selling book, “The Leadership Challenge” by Dr. James Kouzes and Dr. Barry Posner. He is a certified LPI Coach for the Leadership Challenge and also a Master Trainer for the Heart of Coaching, personally trained and certified by Thomas Crane who authored the book, “The Heart of Coaching”. To enhance his coaching competencies, he is certified as a Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach. His name is listed in the International Who’s Who of Professionals. He regularly conducts training in Asia Pacific and the Middle East on Principles of Persuasion, Persuasion and Influence, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Critical Thinking Skills, Competency Based Behavioural Interviewing, Effective Time Management, Critical Thinking, Stress Management, The Heart of Coaching and The Leadership Challenge for multinational companies and local conglomerates. Learning & Development Experience

He has developed and implemented learning and development programs and managing the learning and development function for several multinational companies based in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. His last position held was General Manager for Human Resources in a multinational company where he had regional and local responsibilities for Human Resource Development, Recruitment, General HR Administration and Environment,  Health and Safety in Asia-Pacific for 10 subsidiaries. With his 11 years of experience as a qualified Educator and Examiner for the Ministry Of Education Public Secondary School Examination, he has a firm grasp of design, delivery and evaluation of learning courses. With added experience in Sales and Marketing and 17 years in Learning and Development, he is very passionate about helping people to learn and perform in their respective jobs. He was responsible for the implementation of MBO or Management By Objectives in Asia Pacific subsidiaries in his former company where he trained the employees in the subsidiaries to set goals in the shift towards a performance culture throughout the organization. He conducted assessment of managerial, sales and marketing competencies for managers, sales and marketing staff in all the 10 subsidiaries in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Presently, he is the Principal Trainer and Managing Director of Kairos Performance Learning which is an approved training provider by the Human Resource Development Council, under the Ministry of Human Resources in Malaysia. Eight (8) of his training programmes are approved SBL Khas programmes under the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF).

With wide experience in training in the Asia-Pacific region covering Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Thailand, Korea, India and Taiwan, he was invited to conduct workshops and to present papers at international and local conferences. He had conducted training sessions in the Middle East countries like Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. His clients cover the sectors in manufacturing, oil and gas, banking, insurance, healthcare (hospitals), government agencies and non-government bodies.

Dr. Khoo holds a Ph.D. in HRM, an MBA (U.S.A), BSc (Malaya), Diploma in Education (Malaya), Post Graduate Diploma in Business (UK) and Diploma in Administrative Management (UK). He also taught human resource management for MBA, BBA, Certified HR Program and Diploma Courses for several educational institutions.

He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), the American Management Association (AMA), the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He has been listed under the International Who’s Who of Professionals.

Jeanne Ooi

Jeanne Ooi is the Founder and Chief Reignmaker at Jora Reignmakers (Jora is pronounced as  ‘Yora’). Speaker under global top thought leaders. She has 20 years of work experience in the large multinational companies (MNCs) as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Having studied in the US and worked in multiple US multinational organizations over the last two decades, she is effective in working cross culturally in both the Western and Asian geographies.

Jackie Lee

Jackie Lee (Jack) is a practitioner in the field of Human Resources Management & Organizational Development. He holds the MBA from the University of South Australia, Australia and the Bachelor Degree in Management (Organization Management) from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang. He is also a qualified trainer certified by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) – [Ref: (73) PSMB/22/1/12 Klt 78].

Jack has a strong passion in helping organizations and individuals to grow and this distinct value is demonstrated in his current and past achievements. Jack works with organizations, both MNCs & SMEs to identify their organization and employees’ learning & development needs and recommend results-driven intervention as part of their organization and employee development initiatives. On the individual level, Jack demonstrates high passion & keenness to help others realize their full potential by engaging them in coaching conversations.
