If Critical Thinking is not a VITAL SKILL, try IGNORANCE
By surveying the chief HR officers at some of the world’s leading companies, the World Economic Forum has released The Future of Jobs report revealing the top 10 skills you’ll need by 2020. Critical Thinking is listed as the number 2 skills next to complex problem solving for 2020 and beyond.
But what does critical thinking actually involve?
The answer is: logic and reasoning. Critical thinking involves being able to use logic and reasoning to interrogate an issue or problem, consider various solutions to the problem, and weigh up the pros and cons of each approach.
Ignoring Critical Thinking is detrimental to the organization as Critical thinking is now a key competency for all employees working the organization of today to have an edge over their competitors.
Do not procrastinate. Time is running out and before we realize it, we have lost a future promotion or even a better job offer to someone who is competent in critical thinking skills.
